Noobie Question

Hi folks,
I'm new to collecting Civil War items. I had ancestors that were on both sides of the discussion, and I'm assembling a few small items from the locations where they fought. I'm curious if this buckle looks good? I've read on the forum that frame buckles are frequently faked, hence my question. I appreciate any thoughts the hive might have!
Thanks in advance,
C

Confederate pieces are a minefield to navigate through sometimes. This one is referred to as the gutter back frame. I don't have my books in front of me right now for measurements but check for file marks on the sides. The teeth look to be the right shape to me and the squared edge is a correct variant but I'm certainly no confederate expert by any means. There's many who are though. I noticed the background is red, there are a few dealers who use this color as their backdrop. Can I ask who is selling it?

Just going off photos which is hard, looks like a very nice gutter back CS frame buckle. Here is an original.

@Cop_Out Is this from Middle Tennessee Civil War Relics?
If it is from Larry you could be assured it's the real deal.
Larry is fantastic! I would drive to his shop just to talk with him sometimes. His shop reminds me so much of my grandfather's house growing up with the swords and muskets on the wood panel walls. It's always a very special nostalgia moment for me. He's taught me a boatload through the years, kindest man in the business hands down.
