Grady Howell has a new coffee table style book on Shiloh and it features quite a few of my images of the battlefield. There are also never before published images and nice one from the Kern Collection. If your interested you can contact Grady directly.

Wow they secured rights to publish Kern photos? That must have cost them **** near a fortune. Those things are like printing gold to the dayton museum.
When I got the quote back a handful of years ago for the Cheatham Hill images I wanted to use for the book I was working on at the time I had to laugh and reply with a simple

Maybe they've come down in price in recent years. Major kudos to him though for securing permission to reprint them.

Nice shout out to Mekow in the acknowledgments section. He's the man!

Looks great! May I ask how much the books are going for? Definitely would like to pick one up.

$60 plus $4 for shipping, per his Facebook page.
"Shiloh! " arrived.
This book is 160 pp, illustrated (over 200, most of which have never been in a publication before). The book sells for $ 60 (plus $ 4 s/h). Sounds steep, but I only print hundreds (not thousands) of copies in the very best quality. I want them to last long after I am gone. If interested you can send the full amount to:
Grady Howell, 103 Trace Harbor Road, Madison, MS 39110 and I will sign, date, carefully wrap and mail you a copy.
Thanks
