It has been proposed by a forum member that we limit our discussions to the narrow time line of 1850 to 1865.
That means no more discussion about the Founding Fathers, the Cotton Gin, the Missouri Compermise, the Constitutuion the Bill of Rights, or a host of other topics such as the experience of any Civil War leader during the Mexican War.
All this because some of us had the brazen gall to discuss the origins of the African Slave Trade.
Shall we put this up to a vote?
I doubt this post will be allowed to stay for long as it is so controversial (not), I feel this forum is worth standing up for. History is not always pretty and seldom happens inside a 15 year time restriction.
