I was out by the Rose farm today taking photos of the split rock and this young fella came by to say hi.

How awesome is that!

many years ago I also had a visitor near the Rose Farm , but it wasn't nearly as friendly . I think they need to work on their fences.

We had a bull show up (our neighbor's) in our front yard one morning in North Carolina. I had to leave for work in not too long a time. We ended up calling the police and they got it back to where it belonged. It was a little frightening (we both never grew up or lived with farm animals around).

If you go to Gettysburg in the Winter, you'll see deer mixing in with the cattle herds; seems that they know when it's deer season and they head for safer grounds.

itis the same thing down here except with one exception. Them deer swim the river into the Great Smoky Mountain National Park where you can't hunt them.
