The limited series format, and the writing of Scott Frank show the potential to make a real Civil War movie, probably Grant at Vicksburg. If the actress, Merrit Wever would portray Julia Grant, the potential to make money, without the need to generate advertising sponsors is there.
I just wanted to mention that. Netflix probably won't do it, but it would be a missed opportunity.
