A recent look at Edmund Kirby Smith's biography has me asking for help. The bio states he was an officer in the 2nd US Cavalry before the war and was wounded in 1859. This Indian fight where the wounding occured was supposedly in the Nescutunga Valley of Texas. I am from Texas and cannot locate any such place. Anyone ever hear of it?
