Need help identifying!

I found it near were a civil war hospital was. Does anyone know what it is?

A couple of guesses: Part of a spoon handle or part of a tang plate from a rifle

I'm going fork or spoon handle as it doesn't have a hole on the other end as a tang would have.

I have been doing some research and some only have one hole. This is another i have found

That one you dug is not big enough to be for a musket, as they had hole in both ends. The one you dug today is of the same size.

So could they be part of a pistol? I figured the second one was a little small. Do you think they could of come from a pistol?

The lever part of a toenail clipper?

It looks to be brass and with the decorative motif on only one side, it might possibly be part of a trigger tang from a civilian rifle as has been suggested.
