I was grateful for a quick visit to the National Infantry Museum and Soldier Center at Fort Moore (Fort Benning) Georgia this past week. I was pleasantly surprised and looking forward to a return visit. I was not able to make it thru all of the exhibits. There is also a decent sized theatre with surround sound that provides various historical presentations on battles fought by the Army's Infantry. Many exhibits on display that take depict the infantry soldier, wars and campaigns from 1600's to modern day. It can easily be a 2-3 hour visit when taking your time to take everything in. For those without military ID, you can access the visitor center at the main gate to get a visitor pass and entry onto the installation. I've included a link below and a few pictures. Excellent job on the exhibits by the museum staff and curators.
