Nathan Bedford Forrest

Oh, indeed that's nice! May I offer one suggestion? His hair was much darker - iron grey with dark, almost black, brown. I think you'll see the darker hair will give his eyes even sharper color. You've got them perfect, too!

I will admit I had difficulty nailing his hair, that's for sure. Thanks for the suggestion.

All Forrest's war time pictures show a pretty fierce guy! :D I have one of him after the war, don't know what year, but he's looking a little up and off to the side. He looks about as menacing as a kitten, real choir-boy expression! Kind of startling... I'd like to find a picture of his brother Bill. Bill was smaller, about 5'7" or so, but said to be a really handsome man with perfect features and curly black hair. He was also said to be the only man alive brother Bedford feared.

Outstanding work Zuzah..............as usual. I do believe you harbor an aptitude for this work.

I'd love to see whoever could put the fear of God in Bedfords head.

THank you very much.
