Names on the Stone Mountain Memorial...???

I have an obituary for a Confederate veteran that states that his "name appears on the Stone Mountain Memorial as a representative of the state of Louisiana, where he at one time served in the legislature."
His name is Dempsey Kemp (1845-1927). He was a member of Co. H 27th Regiment, Louisiana Infantry and, according to one of his obituaries, was captured at the siege of Vicksburg.
I'm not finding anything with information about names except those of the carved figures and their horses...

He was a member of the Louisiana delegation of the Stone Mountain Memorial Association and was instrumental in raising funds form Louisiana and his name is on a Founders plaque along with other members from LA in the Memorial Hall at Stone Mountain.
