I had an old grass matt.. with added static grass .....

I have actually started to look at 3d printed.. they have some nice detail..

That seems to be the future. I painted a lot of Shenandoah Civil War 54mm figures. They are still great figures (white metal) but the line stalled years ago and they don't have great availability. I started out on Imrie-Risley figures back in the late 1960s and they are just toy soldiers compared to the stuff on the market today.

Lots of motion in that scene, but you can still see the interactions between figures. That´s lovely.

It's one of the better dioramas I've seen in a long time. A lot of interaction between the figures in a way that makes sense. Beautiful groundwork too.
