Hi everybody.
Just wanted to show you my small collection. (Remington new model Army 1864, Colt Navy 1862, and Colt Pocket 6" 1852).

I'm quite new as a collector of old cap and ball revolvers, but I must say it is a very interesting topic and a there is a lot to learn.

Thanks a lot ucvrelics.com. That would be very much appreciated. I'll post pictures later today.

Claes, a very nice small collection indeed! I'm working on something similar myself and so far have a Colt 1860 Army and two different Pocket Models - welcome to the forums!

Thanks James N. I sold my 1860 to be able to buy the 1851 (I actually miss it), and a Manhattan to buy the Colt Pocket.

I know the feeling - in the past I've owned rough examples of another 1860 Army that was sold when I lost a job; Manhattan .36 I traded for an almost mint M.1860 Ames cavalry saber (that I still have); and Colt M.1851 Navy that was stolen in a smash-n-grab burglary along with some other guns.

Yes. I cant afford them all, so a choise must be made. I'm really sorry about that burglary.

Wow! Those are clean, beautiful revolvers! And not a single damaged screw slot in sight! I don't believe I've ever personally seen any that were better.

Thanks. They are in quite good condition except there is not much blueing left. The better examples are a bit to expensive for me.
It must've been difficult to find things like those in Sweden - or did you get them elsewhere?

There are some dealers in Sweden that are more or less specialized in CW revolvers and rifles. My revolvers are from two of those. Wish I could import interesting objects myself, but probably its not that easy. The dealers have to make some profit after all expenses during import, and that makes the guns rather expensive here.
