This was in newsfeed today, hadn't ever heard of it, but seems interesting.

Has anyone attended/participated?

It is a fun, slow paced event. The Lorena Sells out all 4 runs ( one Friday evening, 3 on Saturday) and it's their most successful event of the year. They typically have confederates on the boat along with a mountain howitzer. There is a bike path along the river ( which they close for this event) where we place cannons ( this year there were 6) and fire at the boat. The event provides us with a sack lunch ( delivered to us on the bike path) on Saturday and typically provides a powder bounty to the gun owners. Not a real "reenactment" but an enjoyable time firing cannons with your friends.
