LITTLE VALLEY — As this year comes to a close, a local preservation group's efforts to save the nearly 103-year-old Civil War Memorial and Historic Building continue to march toward success.

And later this week, county officials and those with the group C.A.M.P. — Citizens Advocating Memorial Preservation — should know the outcome of a request by the county to the state Supreme Court to look into the conditions of the 1866 deed and whether the covenant barring transfer of the property could be removed.
