Memorial Day Program, Monday, May 31, 2:00 p.m.
Monocacy National Battlefield will honor those who have sacrificed their lives in service to the United States of American through Civil War music and interpretive programming. The park will also host living historians, who will be on hand during the day to discuss the life of a Civil War soldier.
Please join us at 2:00 p.m. when rangers will discuss the history of Memorial Day, and living history musicians will play Civil War era patriotic music followed by a presentation of the colors and moment of silence at 3:00 p.m.
The event is free and open to the public and will be held outside the visitor center.
