I don't know. If I had known you back then, I would have told you about it.
You have posted some pictures in the past of figures that I either have painted or have yet to paint so I know we share some of the same tastes/interest in figures.
Many thanks Dan, that's a great write up about the shirt and a nice idea to add some embroidery. Must say having seen your painted version with my own eyes gotta say the photo doesn't do it justice.
I tried to take photo's of some of my figures with my digital camera, but CWT won't let me upload them because they're too high def-too many pixels or something, so I take the pix's with my tablet and they all look kind of washed out. If I have to use my tablet, maybe I should try taking pictures outside with natural light?
Nice job painting this piece. I think painting it has brought out the expression on the figure's face. Also, it's great to read your comments about the details of clothing and arms -- thanks so much for writing this up!
I have been interested in the CW all my life. I must have received the CW gene from my grandfather, as I have all of his CW books after he passed. But after I retired and moved back to Missouri the only aspect of the CW I'm really interested in anymore is Missouri CW history, which means the guerrilla war. And I've really gone down the guerrilla rabbit hole. It's what you do when you're retied. Many people don't know that "retired' is a Latin word which means "every day is Saturday."

I use a Digital Canon Powershot S5 1S which I bought second hand about 8 yrs ago. I should be looking at replacing it but as I'm no expert in photography and while it still takes decent pics I'm sticking with it. I rarely take pics of my figures outdoors, just lucky I guess.
Sorry that it doesn't help.

I have Windows 8 and if you pull up an individual picture at the top right there is a message that comes up "Edit and Create".Click on that and then "Edit". Click "Aspect Ratio" and scroll down to "Square". This will resize the image to a smaller one . Click "Save a Copy" and this will save the image as an additional image that will probably be small enough to post .
