Mississippi Regiment?

I have a Mississippi Infantry button that was found years ago on the Coln farm. Farm is on the extreme right flank of the Confederate lines during the first days fighting, this I was told. Wondering what Miss. regiment was here? Thanks, Robert.

Thanks for the article! So, this button could be narrowed down to the 9th or 10th Miss.
Chalmers was practicing law in my hometown, Holly Springs. A lot of soldiers arose from Marshall County!

[7th Mississippi Infantry]

Wondering what Miss. regiment was here?

The 5th, 7th, 41st, 44th Mississippi Infantry regiments along with 9th Mississippi Battalion ( sharp shooters) were also part of Chalmer's
" High Pressure " Brigade at Shiloh.

I'm sure it would be almost impossible to identify this button to any of the above units.
