Today I have seen an 8 part mini series about Antietam from Historical Films at YouTube. That was really short, but it was great. I'm not sure when it is released, I guess many of you know it. All who not, you really should watch it. My favourite episode is 7th, shows the Attack of the Texas Brigade.
Antietam is my favourite part of the war, the Maryland campaign at all, the Battle in the Cornfield specialy. I can't even emagine how they went through it, both sides, confederate and union soldiers who fought and died there.
This series brings it close to the viewer

Is this it?

Not sure what you mean
Marco Polo is a game played it then us. Mostly a summer pool thing where one person is chosen to be 'it' and within closed eyes they must find the other players. When the 'it' person calls out "marco" the other players respond with "polo" which gives the 'it' person a vocal que as to the whereabouts of the other players.
Don't know how it came to be or why pools are the boundaries. I remember it as a fun past time in the pool when I was a kid.
My comment referred to answering "marco75" with "polo75" for the game.
It looses something when mentioned to those unfamiliar with Marco Polo.
I meant nothing ill intentioned or disrespectful.
Cheers!

The first books I have read were from southern writers or confederate sources, I said Sharpsburg always, had the feeling some people were not happy with that...
Yeah its just a nod to the battle's having different titles depending on the camp someone might have been with.
I think Pea Ridge has three names to help you be confused.
Cheers!

I have heard of one couple that uses it to find each other when they get separated while shopping at the grocery store. So it is a practice that can be transferred successfully to other aspects of every day life and not just left behind in childhood.

I did'nt understand it as disrespectful. It is known in Germany too, not so much today I guess. I was just a little confused in the first moments, happens sometimes.
Have a nice day✌️

Of course it is not as short as I first thought, every episode is ca 90 minuetes.
Sometimes I'm a little confused, but it's not as bad as it might seems...😉
I ordered the DVD box, if I understand right this time, they work on more of that
