I frequently visit Norman Rockwells haunts in Sturbridge, MA. People who are a little older than me tell me they use to see him walking down the road, just like anyone else. Several of his litho were products focused on "Joes Diner" (Lee Mass.). Going in is like stepping back 50 years in time. There are lithos by Rockwell, made with the diner as the backdrop. The prices are rediculously low - last time I was there (~8 years ago), a hamburger (real, Not Micky D's) was less than a buck. And then the wall of fame... athletes, musicians, politicians - a virtual whos who of 1960s americana...
