Lee Marshall

There were a few lines in Foote about a Union officer Marshall, a relative of Robert E. Lee, who was a staff officer for Pope. Lee was to have remarked he could forgive him for fighting against the South, but could not forgive for fighting with Pope. I assume this man was in the same family as Lee's staff officer Major Charles Marshall?

My question is - were there any other prominent members of Lee's family who fought for the USA?

The Marshall in question was Louis Henry Marshall, Lee`s nephew. Also Samuel Phillips Lee, a cousin to Robert, served as a Rear Admiral in the Union Navy.
Thanks for response. Was he brother to Charles Marshall or was Charles Marshall not kin, just coincident surname?
