Period Magnum Bonum Apples

A very popular "southern" apple. Originally found in Davidson County NC in the 1820s and widely grown in the Piedmont regions of the Carolina's and Virginia by the time of the war. I can find them for sale from time at stores and farmers markets in central NC in the late summer, early fall.
