Thomas Cartwright is one of the best historians I know personally although its years since I seen him. He will he be an extraordinary Lotz House Executive Director.... and I Love his Idea to Have the First Ever Franklin Civil War Living History Day! Outstanding Thomas!!!!

Lotz House historian Thomas Y. Cartwright has been named executive director of the historic Civil War home located at ground zero of the Battle of Franklin held Nov. 30, 1864.

Thomas Cartwright is one of the best historians I know personally although its years since I seen him.

Also one of my all-time favorites. A few years ago, he performed a one-man play portraying Sam Watkins for our local Civil War Roundtable. His lines were Sam's actual words from his diary. Just a great program!
