Hello all. I'm hoping someone here can help. I'm looking for records from V Corps Commanders. To date, I've found the repositories for papers belonging to Warren, Meade, Hooker, Butterfield, and Porter, but am looking for any repositories related to Sykes. From reading this forum, it doesn't appear archives for Griffin exist, although his very brief tenure doesn't really play into anything significant.

Thanks!

You might try the old stand-bys: Google Scholar and Archives.Com. Do you know where Griffin went to school? That institution's library may have a collection or the state library.

Like you I could not find any references to Sykes having his papers collected anywhere. He came from a prominent family in Delaware but I could not find a collection of family papers either. I tried both the state archives and the university without luck.

One way I've used to find sources is in the index of books that overlap my subject. Maybe that would work here?
