Longstreets tidewater expedition

I hadn't heard of any, but decided to jump on Youtube and see if there was anything up there. (Oftentimes, I can find documentaries up there- more often than not, split into parts.) I didn't see anything when I typed in "Longstreet's Tidewater Expedition," but a few came up when I typed "Siege of Suffolk." Thanks for pushing that question, because you just gave me more videos to watch. :D

Are you strictly talking about a TV or video documentary related to the campaign? Maybe I misunderstood...
I was referring to something on video. Anything that could break down the timeline with more detail between Jan and March of 63 would be helpful. My gggg grandfather was admitted into episcopal church hospital in Williamsburg on March 9 and discharged March 12. So I'm trying to figure out what might have happened around the Williamsburg/ Richmond area around that time.

Any luck yet with your search?

It's hard because there's not a lot of info on all the small skirmishes that happened but the battle of deserted house in Suffolk happened on January 30 of 63 led by brigadier general Pryor.. he had 1800 confederates but I'm not sure if the South Carolina 5th was one of them.. my gggg great father died in blackwater in Mathews county only a few miles from Williamsburg a week after he was released from the hospital in Williamsburg…( according to records) and then has a burial spot in South Carolina which is also confusing because I know that alot of soldiers didn't make it home. But I'll keep digging and asking questions until I'm satisfied.
