) and the Hubby wants to go see Spiderman in about two minutes so I just wanted to see if there was any interest in something like this.

How about a "quilt along"? I thought this one was purty. I've had my eye on it for a while.
We could pick a simple pattern and those of us that were interested could complete the project together (or at different times) and encourage each other and show our work. Or heck, we could just yack about it too!

That was a little more difficult than I expected. Tiny piecing! They didn't want to fit together and ironing them was a pain! The direction were simple enough but maybe a more experienced quilter would have figured out a better way!
