Library book sale

One of my neighbors came looking for me a few minutes ago while I was in the back yard starting a charcoal fire. She works in our local branch library and knew I liked Civil War books. She brought me The Photographic History of the Civil War (Vol I) and Maps and Mapmakers of the Civil War. They were supposed to go on sale Saturday for a dollar each, but since I didn't have the right change on me, she let me owe her. What a nice lady and what a great deal!

Nice deal. I got Murfin's "The Gleam of Bayonets" for 2 or 3 dollars some years back at one of the county libraries here in Maryland. Keep my eye out in thrift stores but no luck yet.
