Should be Lens On the Texas Frontier by Lawrence T. Jones III. It claims to be a Pioneer Collectors Showcase s Early Texas Images.

I really wish I hadn't seen it. I want it. The DeGolyer collection and Lawrence T. Jones III are really familiar if you focus on Texas history, however. This should be great. Here's a neat site where you can get a taste....

For many years Mr. Jones published a Confederate Texan calendar. His collection is among the best anywhere. I'm looking forward to seeing and acquiring the new book.

The current issue of Military Images magazine contains one of the photographs used in the book. I am trying to increase the number of books I have that cover Confederate military uniforms or prewar militia uniforms and might find the book of interest.
