LeFaucheux 1854

This is a recent purchase 1854 ,but with a 4.25" barrel falling well inside the normal accepted serial range of LF25000 to LF37000 approx. (WRONG) The US purchase was 11833 approx. from Sept. 1861 - Mar. 1862 or so I thought. This is French made LF32650 DOB Sept. 1861. I have been conversing with Guillaume member lefaucheux and who graciously helped me in my info search. He has been researching for years and has two books published on the subject, unfortunately for a lot of us, but not all they are in French. I will attach links
