My mom was deep into doing Civil War living history and as such became an accomplished lace maker and made all of her kit. She also set up demonstrations and taught the lost skills of tatting and bobbin lace to other ladies interested in authenticity. Here's 3 of her shawls, a snood and fingerless gloves. We're starting to let go of some of her stuff and want to pass it to somebody into living history. Message me and we'll talk.

And some pix of her impression as an elderly lady of the 1860s and teaching young ladies the skills that would have been common in the period.
