At 2:00 July 2, 1863, the 15th Alabama reached Herr's Ridge (Outskirts of Gettysburg) after a grueling 24 mile march. Simply wanted to give respect to this regiment. In a few short hours, they would engage in "The Battle of Little Round Top".
