A member here "Gunny" posted a map of Union/Confederate forces around Jonesboro Georgia. It is a rainy day here in Georgia so I went out and took pics of the areas as they exist today the showed on the chart..... So here is the chart...Will be posting these pics throughout the day.....

There is new info on the EXACT location of the distinctive 'point of assault' made by the Union forces on DAy 2 ---- Most maps show it was at the High School but it was not.

It used to be. LAst time I was there I just walked in

Right now it is for events. Don't know if you can just walk in and tour it.
