Just finished this wonderful novel by one of our esteemed members - Mulejack - so many novels are run of the mill - he takes a complete different tack on the civil war theme - would love to see this come to the screen - Hollywood is running out of good stories, here's one that could fill that gap. Here's the reviews on Amazon - a good read for the coming summer - fast and insightful. Thanks Jack !! - enjoyed it a bunch

I had an early preview and it's darned good. I recommend it!
Thanks Old Pete and nathan B of course for your kind words. In reply to old Pete about a possible swcreenplay of Joining Up. For some unknown reason I wrote the screenplay first and From those pages came the novel. I'm backwards I guess, but that's the truth and I'm sticking to it.

Well, because you asked Jayboss the story is about two boys who escape harsh treatment at a Brooklyn orphanage to Join Up with Brooklyn's Famous red legged devils of the 14th Regiment and fight in the Civil War.

I have one copy left I will be happy to send you if you can send me your address. No charge, and you can send me your address in a private message.
