John 'Gray Ghost' Mosby

This is defiantly the best of the 4. Very nice.

Have you done this one? I have done it a few times and have the one your are showing on my list to do.

I think more likely that there is some Mosby in Ashley!
I agree - everything I have read about Mosby was that he was hell on wheels, though small in stature - the story about him waking up the Union General who was hung over and hauling him off is really funny. He had also runnoft with a buch of Union horses. Lincoln said he could make more generals but he couldn't make any horses! One wonders if Lincoln wasn't getting a good chuckle out of the episode. I think eventually Lincoln got his general back but not his horse flesh. Mosby must have had some stories - thanks for the photo work, on this fine Southern scallywag :bounce:

His exploits during the war are legendary. When I was researching him I was really surprised about him after the war. He supported Grant for president and the one that still gets me, personally mentored George Patton.

Indeed, with the stories - I would've loved nothing more than hearing Patton's retelling of Mosby's stories.

Edit: Great minds think alike :) - http://i.imgur.com/3xZOk6v.png
