2. Has anyone ever written anything rebutting the arguments Davis made for the constitutionality of secession in Rise and Fall of the Confederate Government, or in Albert Bledsoe's book Was Davis a Traitor: is Secession Treason? What's the best Unionist work that deals with the same primary sources these men cited?
