Yay! Bacon! We found a little hole in the wall butcher shop a few year ago where I buy the best bacon! I just can't spend the money on the stuff at the grocery store. It is not the same quality. We like to have breakfast for supper when I buy the good stuff! Bacon and eggs and grits!

Yep, I feel the same way, @AshleyMel! I was always waiting for some loan officer to pop out of the deli meat aisle to discuss attractive financing options for bacon.

Costco has really reasonable prices and the bacon is good. They even have a reduced sodium brand, but given the nitrates and fat in it, I don't know if cutting a few mgs of sodium makes a big difference.

The only word that needs to be said in a food thread - bacon. Full stop. I have some apple wood smoked bacon for tomorrow.

I've never had the nerve to try turkey bacon and don't plan to.
Just came from a site that rated duck bacon over regular pork bacon! Seriously. I dunno!
