Identify Time Period Photo

I have this photo, of which my great grandfather is pictured. He was in Company F, 62nd ALA. Signed up in Talladega, AL and captured at Fort Gaines. Would anyone know the history of this photo? The uniforms being different, possibly this was a later photo of a remembrance or reunion? Thanks for your input.

I was going to say Odd Fellows, The guy squatting next to the end on the right appears to have a badge made of crossed swords whose tips are connected by three chain links.

Definitely before 1935. I would think late 1800s. Possibly the very early 1900s.
