At one time when you purchased I/R Miniatures to paint they came with postcards to show you how they should be painted. How many of us painted this miniatures? I am not sure how useful the post cards are as guides to uniforms. I am not sure who did the artwork. However they are colorful. Here are a couple of the postcards.

I probably painted over a 100 of them, back in the day. If I remember correctly, they were 54 mm and not the best castings. But when I started painting figures, I started with them. I may still have a few of the figures and cards around somewhere. I remember spending a lot of time researching what various uniforms would have looked like, rather that trusting the I/R cards.

I moved on to larger figures, (does anyone remember Series 77 figures?) A 90 mm figure had so much more detail and was easier to paint, it's still my preferred size.
