Hey folks. Looks like I'll be the new trivia contest moderator. Samgrant did a fine job with the contest and I'll try my best to fill his shoes. I'll most likely be using the rules he posted from the previous game, although I may make a few changes here and there. I'll post the revised rules before we start any games.

The first thing I'd like to do is to request from you, the members, suggestions as to which online source(s) to use for me to choose questions and answers from.

If we all are somewhat in agreement on the source(s) used then I think we'll be a little ahead of the game as far as disputes are concerned.

Ok, I'm now accepting suggestions for sources.

Ok, just a heads-up on this thread. Your replies are not going to be visible to you or others on the board. Please keep that in mind if you're posting suggestions or anything else. The posts are only visible to me. Thanks.

I wouldn't publish the sources you're going to use. Most of the last batch of participants reveled in finding the answer on their own.

Google books.
Lots of scans in there with some pretty arcane stuff.

You do have to be a little careful because so much of it is first person.

If you're in a city library, you might wander through the history section. Bet there are a number of out of print references that won't be on many people's shelves.

Good Luck!
