Here is another one -- a bit more notorious. The listing does not reveal that General Van Dorn was "invited" to vacate his HQ there because of his scandalous closed door meetings with Jessie Peters.


Ferguson Hall, just south of White Hall, where Van Dorn relocated and was shot, was on the market last year.

nice little place :happy: Funny, I was probably just a few blocks from this as I was on King Street yesterday. I missed getting Miss Neck Manor about 16 years ago which was being sold in the neighborhood of $3.6 Million. Featured in "God's and Generals" it is where the Army of Northern Virginia camped nearby in the Winter of 1862-63.
