Hello and welcome to General Lee's forum. It's my honor and privilege to be the host one of most known General's forums in the war. I have always enjoyed learning as much as I possibly can about the general from an early age I was always fascinated with art of learning about General Lee. I had a high school teacher in high school who taught us to love General Robert E. Lee. After graduating my enjoyment of learning more about the General and his family has continued. I also did my genealogy and found that the General and I share some of the same ancestors on his mother's side. I have also had the privilege of visiting Stratford Hall, Arlington House and Lee Chapel all three I found to be very interesting in my civil war travels. I think the forum idea for this site can be very enjoyable as well as educational. On here we can discuss the General as well as members of his family. So, I hope each of you will enjoy yourselves. Remember let's have fun while learning something new about Marse Robert.

Let me just say you have remarkably accurate penmanship, and more 'gumption' than I can muster. I was told early on never to volunteer for anything, therefore most times I speak under duress. I keep some hidden gems, like the chicken under the cot I could boast bravely about, concerning familial relations with 'Marse' Robert, yet abstain. From the Peninsula originally, the irony of Tennessee should be construed loosely. I am looking forward to your guidance, and hope I fit under your wing.
Lubliner.

Congratulations from your counterpart (mortal enemy might be taking it too far ) in the Ulysses S. Grant forum :grant:

I'm very glad you've decided to take on the role and look forward to seeing more of Robert E. Lee on the site :lee:
