"Honor" Series by Robert N. Macomber?

Is anyone familiar with the Honor novels by Macomber? It follows a U.S. naval officer beginning in the CW and up through about 1901.

Actually, when "Point of Honor" was first mentioned, I thought it might have something to do with those books, but no.

I'm aware of them but have not read any of them.

Well, that "Point of Honor" most likely would have gunboats.

I ordered At the Edge of Honor, which I think is the first in the series. We'll see.
