Hive mind query: Prison Bridge in Jackson

Has anyone run across first-hand accounts of soldiers who were imprisoned in the covered bridge over the Pearl River in Jackson, Mississippi in 1863?

Apparently, many of the prisoners from Chickasaw Bayou were held there.
