Help Identifying Button

Found this button listed as a Civil War button, the seller thinks it's copper. As always, I'm new to this game and would appreciate any information. (to me, and I'm probably TOTALLY wrong, it looks like a 1 piece pewter button, drooped wings, characteristic of CSA buttons with a script "R" for "rifleman") Not sure if it's authentic, post ACW or repro but I'm leaning toward a gift shop repro. Thanks in advance!!!!
