Harper's Ferry to Appomattox

Thanks, guys and gals!

After I return from North and South Carolina in May, I will remaster this video to include Bennet Farm, Averasboro and Bentonville sites.

I will also place parts of my Shenandoah Valley sites too.

Bill

Awesome as usual, Sir William. Very nicely done!

Images I think I recognized: Fort Sumter, Fort Donelson, Shiloh, Antietam, Fredericksburg, Gettysburg, Vicksburg, Chickamauga, Petersburg (Crater), Franklin, and Appomattox. That's good for a passing grade, right? LOL!

Echoing theoldman - "Enjoy your trip and stay safe."

The picture of the mill is located at the Battle of Mill Springs (Logan's Cross Roads) on the Cumberland River in Kentucky.

* Thanks for kind words!

A black & white video tour of American Civil War (War Between the States) sites.

From Harper's Ferry, West Virginia to Appomattox Court House, Virginia.....

American Civil War : Black & White:

Enjoy,

I'm too tired to play it again (though I will). Did I see Lee's Headquarters in there? (Gettysburg)...or am I getting too old? I gave a generous donation to "Save Lee's Headquarters"--CW Trust--did anyone else? I guess my name is/will be on the plaque there...but no children's children to see it when I'm gone. (Oh, for God's sake, I'm 60--not 100! lol)

The photo you are talking about in the video is the Lydia Leister Farmhouse (General George G. Meade's HQ).
