Grant & Lee : Author Jack Davis

I read this book. It was interesting and well-written. It was essentially a dual biography. Davis did a good job of cutting back and forth to the two as each prepared for battle. He was able to keep them separate and I never felt confused about what I was reading. I highly recommend it.

I have yet to find a Jack Davis book that wasn't well written

One of my favorite books on Grant (and I have read a few....)
Also a very nice introduction for me to Robert E. Lee. What a tragic character he was.
The book is wonderful, and Davis himself, in this video, is even more engaging in the flesh than he is in print!
well thank you very much sounds like some good insight.
