I dug these pieces up last winter in a CW area but there were also older home stead's there too so it's difficult for me to filter out what was from the CW possibly or just other things. Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry, I'm of no help to you. I'm just learning myself.
However, the photo of the item in your palm, I'd guess to be a hammer minus the claw on the back.
Daddy used to pick up good hammers out junking and then would whittle a handle for them and attach them.
Honestly, the even weight of an old hammer can't be beat.
Out of looking at everything you found, that's the only item I think I might could help you with- and, I'm not exactly sure on it.
I know there must be those on the forum which are very knowledgeable about such things and can tell you much, much more.
Great finds-

Is it possible that the two brass pieces in the top left come from the same device. Looked at first like a trigger guard, but it would have been an unfinished casting, then thought bullet mold, but hard to see that being possible. The other brass piece looks to be a hinge, but as previously mentioned, maybe a butt plate.

Thanks again..

Some great ideas.

Don't have a clue.
