Has anyone experienced a glitch with the census viewer at Ancestry.com? I can't get the page to stay still long enough to download the viewer, and if I click on "report a problem," I get a list of issues to choose from, none of which describe this problem. My son, who lives in Rome, gave me the account for Christmas a couple of years ago, so all the messages I get from Ancestry are in Italian. Needless to say, that doesn't help me much.

Just go to Contact us and email them. Worked with me when I had a problem with my subscription.
The problem is with Mozilla Firefox. I turned the problem over to my son and he sent me a link. I'm not sure it worked, but he also said to try Internet Explorer. That allowed me to download the viewer for sure and now it also works in Firefox.

This is not good. I got a notice that Footnote.com merged (or bought out or something) by Ancestry.com.

What happens now? Does my Footnote membership transfer?

My guess would be that free peeks and nice attitudes are over.
