Hello all. Apologies in advance to the admins, as this is outside the scope of Reconstruction. I'm trying to run down a good history of the Gilded Age,primarily the origins and early stages: the financings of all these grand projects and companies. I know the "sound money/free market" arguments, and the standard portrayal of greedy robber barons and so on. Additional perspectives sought. thanks all!
