Great day at Gettysburg today--the weather was perfect, and it really wasn't any more crowded that a usual summer day. The rainy weather we've had lately made everything very green. Everything seemed "spiffed up" for the 150th--grass mowed, the shuttle bus to the George Spangler farm up and running, the new walking trail from the VC mostly finished. I had the chance to walk the horse trail to the Slyder farm, down through Devil's Kitchen to Devil's Den, then back up Warren Avenue at the bottom of LRT to where the 20th Maine monument is, and back to BRT, then to Power's Hill (love that place!)--among others. Tired feet, sunburn, and no ticks--it was a good day!

A few pics.
