Hello everyone, I was looking at the loc.gov website when I found a picture of this gentleman writing a letter at the Gettysburg Reunion of 1913.
I am always amazed at the ability to go deep into these photographs and discover sights unseen before. I was wondering who and what the man was writing and I was able to zoom in and grab the letter using Photoshop. I was able to darken it a bit to try and figure out what he was writing. I can make out "Gettysburg Pa July 2 1913 Darling" I was wondering if anyone else had any background on this gentleman or knew anything about this letter? The letter is grainy but that was as clear as I could get it.
